My flight from Kathmandu got late due to the technical problems so we have arrived very late in Bangkok. I have planned to make some shopping but it was too late for the shopping center so I decided to go to this night market in Kho San. I took the sky train and then taxi. I have seen some people totally wet walking by but I thought well must be some game they playing here.
Getting closer and closer to Kho San I got worried - This was a regular water fight, with bucket of water, kids water guns and similar staff. All guys wet, and some with painted bodies in something white. So I have tried to sneak through not being all wet as I did not have anything to change, my luggage was checked in to Manila so then I would be in trouble
Well so no shopping all closed there, and I managed to be just a little wet before I reached the restaurant where I could hide till it is over
Then I have learned that it was Thai first day of the new year
What a party - wish I could participate

Lot do Bankoku się opóźnił bo samolot się był zepsuł wiec chłopaki walczyli walczyli i w końcu polecieliśmy ale mieliśmy ogromne opóźnienie. Dotarłem do Bankoku zbyt późno żeby zrobić zakupy w centrum handlowym wiec pojechałem na Kho San bo tam mają taki nocny market.
Po drodze widziałem sporo ludzi całych mokrych - ale pomyślałem że pewnie sobie fajną imprezę zorganizowali. Jak już dotarliśmy na miejsce to byłem lekko przerażony, regularne wojna - jeden wielki śmigus dingus na całym Kho San. Z zakupów nici bo wszystko zamknięte a ja próbowałem się tylko wydostać z tego centrum szaleństwa w miarę suchy. Nie miałem bagażu bo wszystko nadane do Manili wiec jak by mnie zlali to miałbym problem z wejściem do samolotu
Ale udało się dostać do restauracji gdzie byłem bezpieczny - nie do końca suchy ale miałem czas wyschnąć
I wtedy mnie uświadomili że dziś obchodzą pierwszy dzień nowego Tajskiego roku
Niezła impreza - szkoda że nie mogłem dołączyć
